 The BIX (Broad Market Volatility) closed at 10 on Thursday and it is below the panic threshold level of 44. This level of the volatility indicates that the current market is bullish.
 
The market is in an uptrend channel
The Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 is forming a 8-week uptrend channel between two yellow lines. Currently the market is in the choppy zone of the formation. Set guards at the both boundary of the formation for trading mode change.

The Dow Jones Wilshire 5000, as an average or a benchmark of the total market, is up 5.91%. Outperforming sectors are Banks (up 9.44%), Real Estate (up 8.70%), and Consumer Services (up 8.33%). Underperforming sectors are Utilities (up 1.49%), Pharmaceuticals (up 2.08%), and Energy (up 2.58%).
